Today whilst out looking for work....
I stopped by the
new bank opening up right by my house. Thinking, “Surely they will need people!”
I walked in and asked,
"HEY! I know you guys just opened and I was wondering if y'all are hiring?"
"Why yes we
are hiring!"
"Really!? Oh
that is great!"
She asked, "Do
you have any banking experience?”
And I did NOT accidentally say,
“No, I don’t have banking experience…but I do have Community
Service experience.”…
(When I meant to say… “No, I don’t have banking experience
but I do have customer service experience...”)
She just stared at me… and I couldn't think of what I
was really trying to say...Great, now she thinks I am a criminal…So much for
that job.
This totes didn’t happen…Nope…Not to me.
